  • Sean Brady Smacks Back At Belal After ‘Copied My Homework’ Jab As Word Of Words Heats Up

Sean Brady didn’t just win at UFC London—he made a statement. A thunderous one. It was such a statement that it silenced an entire arena.

On a night when most fans were still processing the fact that Leon Edwards, the long-reigning tactician, had just suffered his first finish loss, Belal Muhammad was already lighting up social media. His verdict? Brady hadcopied his homework”—a tongue-in-cheek jab that referenced his own knockout win over Brady in 2022 and his championship triumph over Edwards the following summer.

But Brady didn’t stay silent for long. With the swagger of a man from Philly who just choked out a former champion in his home country, the Philadelphia native clapped back at the post-fight press conference.I think I did it a lot better than Belal did,he said, not mincing words.Belal lost a couple of rounds, had his back taken for an entire round… I dominated Leon, won every round. Nobody’s ever done it like me.Then the dagger:I submitted him and made him quit in front of his hometown.”

Boom!

Muhammad poured salt in Edwards’ wounds post-fight but never clapped back at Brady. The jokes were relentless:Headshot dead,he tweeted mockingly, using Edwards’ own iconic line to mock him.

The UFC champ also quoted coach Dave Lovell’s famed “Don’t let him bully you, son” speech and flipped it to highlight Edwards’ defeat. And just for good measure, he tossed in a timezone dig:Leon’s still on 5 a.m. time zone.”

But while Belal continued to troll, the undertone is unmistakable—he knows Brady is coming for him, and I’m not sure it matters if he has the belt or not.

Of course, Brady wants to be champion, but as he stated in his victory speech in the Octagon, he’s adding big names to his resume to prove he’s the best.

These two jaw-jacking is excellent for the UFC, and Brady is a rising star that the UFC needs right now.
