Ronda Rousey may never return to the Octagon, but that doesn’t mean she still doesn’t have the skills.
Recently, the former UFC bantamweight champion and UFC Hall Of Famer shared a look into her pregnancy fitness journey. The former UFC star is giving a look at her training after she gave birth to her second child.
As of late, Rousey has been candid that she struggles with postpartum depression following pregnancy and this time she wants to be transparent about it. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she admitted to previously being too self-critical, fearing comparisons between her post-baby body and the peak form she maintained during her fight career.
To prove she’s back in the gym, Rousey posted a video of herself with none other than former opponent Cat Zingano. The two met in the Octagon at UFC 184, where Rousey submitted her with an armbar submission just 14 seconds into the fight, marking her fifth title defense. Years later, the two are training partners, with Rousey expressing gratitude for the opportunity to shake off the rust and rediscover the joy of martial arts.
Despite her renewed enthusiasm for training, Rousey remains firm on one thing—her fighting days are over. She was never the same after the fight with Holly Holm, and her career at the WWE never took off.
It’s good to see her back on the mats training and, if anything, being an ambassador for the sport.
Rousey’s career in the UFC ended after back-to-back knowout losses. First, she suffered a nasty headkick from Holly Holm in 2015 at UFC 193.

Then in just 48 seconds Amanda Nunes ended her career with a vicious knockout.
