  • Ronda Rousey Shows Off Amazing Body Transformation — But Is It a Tease for a Comeback or Just a Flex?

Six months after giving birth to her second child, Ronda Rousey is shredded. And now, the internet’s buzzing.

The former UFC bantamweight champ just dropped a side-by-side video on Instagram showing her physical transformation since delivering baby Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha in January. The clip kicks off with a postpartum Rousey and ends with the judo icon looking lean, mean, and cage-ready — igniting a fresh wave of speculation from fight fans who really want to believe she’s on the comeback trail.

“Thank you…for gettin my ass back in a cage again,” Rousey wrote, tagging her training crew while joking about her messy room and smeared mirror. The message? She’s been grinding, she’s been sweating, and more importantly — she’s been training again.

Fans took that phrase and ran with it, hoping it means the ‘Rowdy’ one is stepping back into MMA. After all, Rousey admits MMA training has made her “feel healthier and more sturdy” than regular gym work. Combine that with the visible results and her excitement about training again, and the whispers are getting louder: Is Ronda Rousey really done with fighting?

Reality check: In 2024, Rousey flat-out said no to a UFC return, citing ongoing neurological issues. “I’m not neurologically fit to compete anymore,” she told fans last August. “The injuries accumulate. They don’t get better.”

Still, the timing of her transformation video, her praise for MMA training, and her sudden reappearance in the cage (albeit just for training) have created a stir — and in combat sports, stir equals speculation.
