He’s never been the same since Dustin Poirier, and now he’s turning himself into a meme and not a good one.
Conor McGregor is once again under fire — and this time, it’s not for skipping fights, but how he’s been training.
The 37-year-old former UFC champ has been spotted in Italy this past week, throwing punches and catching flak after footage surfaced of him dominating a young MMA fighter during a one-sided sparring session. The viral clip shows McGregor landing a flurry of jabs and offering little in the way of restraint, sparking immediate backlash from fans and fighters alike.

And fans didn’t hold back either. Social media lit up with criticism.
“Hmmm, not a good look for McGregor,” one user posted.
“He’s doing this to pump up his ego lol,” another wrote.
One comment summed up the mood:
“This is the sign of a guy who has truly fallen off.”
Still, not everyone was out for blood. A few fans defended McGregor’s approach, suggesting the intense session could be a valuable learning experience for younger fighters. But even that crowd was heavily outnumbered.
This is actually the second sparring clip in recent weeks that’s drawn heat. Critics are starting to wonder if this is less about training and more about staying relevant.
Meanwhile, McGregor continues to tease a comeback, despite being out of action since July 2021 when he snapped his leg in a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier. The Dubliner has recently re-entered the anti-doping testing pool, hinting he may be gearing up for a return to the UFC octagon — but nothing’s official yet.
However, that wasn’t bad enough, then McGregor posted this, looking more like a middle-aged man going through a midlife crisis.

I agree with Rogan, McGregor is probably never going to fight again, and he knows it. But he doesn’t know what else to d,o and he’s looking seriously desperate.
There is one way to make this all go away…Stop complaining about your pinky toe and take a fight.
