If there was ever a moment when I felt my childhood died, it was this week.
First off, Malcolm-Jamal Warner passed away in a drowning accident in Costa Rica. Yes, I know there was a lot of controversy later in life about The Cosby Show, but I have incredible fond memories of sitting down as a family to watch the show.
Then, Ozzy died.
As if that wasn’t enough, we all learned that Hulk Hogan passed away later in the week.
What. The. Heck.
I have incredible memories as a kid wrestling with friends, running around like Hulk Hogan, and it was amazing to see the outpouring of tributes from athletes and fans post their tributes to one of the greats.
So, in a way, this is my tribute.

They say you should never meet your idols, but meeting Hulk Hogan made me admire him even more. He was so generous with his time and an inspiration not only as an athlete and entertainer, but also as a human being. He will be missed by us all.
